Medical Information:Ketoconazole is used to treat skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, and certain kinds of dandruff. This medication is also used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis (tinea versicolor), a fungal infection that causes a lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, arms, or legs. Ketoconazole is an azole antifungal that works by preventing the growth of fungus. How to use Ketoconazole TopUse this medication on the skin only. Clean and thoroughly dry the area to be treated. Apply this medication to the affected skin, usually once or twice a day or as directed by your doctor. Dosage and length of treatment depends on the type of infection being treated. Do not apply this more often than prescribed. Your condition will not clear faster, but side effects may be increased.Apply enough medication to cover the affected skin and some of the surrounding skin. After applying this medication, wash your hands. Do not wrap, cover or bandage the area unless directed to do so by your doctor.Do not apply this medication in the eyes, nose, mouth, or vagina. If this medication gets in the eyes (e.g., when used to treat dandruff), rinse thoroughly with water.Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. Remember to use it at the same time(s) each day.Continue to use this medication until the full prescribed amount is finished, even if symptoms disappear after starting ketoconazole. Stopping the medication too early may allow the fungus to continue to grow, which may result in a relapse of the infection.Inform your doctor if your condition persists after the prescribed amount of treatment or worsens at any time.Ketoconazole is used to treat skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, and certain kinds of dandruff. This medicine contains the active ingredient fusidic acid, which is an antibacterial agent used to treat a number of bacterial skin infections. It works in the bacterial cell by preventing the production of essential proteins necessary for the growth and survival of the bacteria. It is effective against several bacterial species and used in the treatment of infections such as impetigo (characterised by blistering and yellowish-brown crusting of the skin), whitlow (paronchya) and inflammation of hair follicles (sycosis). It is also used to treat eczema or dermatitis that has become infected (secondary infections). What is it used for? Bacterial skin infections Telmisartan is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure. Telmisartan is in a class of medications called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. It works by blocking the action of certain chemicals that tighten the blood vessels, so blood flows more smoothly.Telmisartan is also used sometimes to treat congestive heart failure.

Prescription omeprazole is used alone or with other medications to treat ulcers (sores in the lining of the stomach or small intestine), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a condition in which backward flow of acid from the stomach causes heartburn and injury of the esophagus (tube that connects the mouth and stomach), and erosive esophagitis (swelling and wearing away of the lining of the esophagus). Omeprazole delayed-release capsules are also used to treat conditions in which the stomach produces too much acid. Omeprazole delayed-release capsules are also used in combination with other medications to eliminate H. pylori (a bacteria that causes ulcers) and possibly prevent new ulcers from developing in patients who have or have had ulcers of the small intestine. Omeprazole powder for suspension (to be mixed with water) is also used to prevent bleeding from the esophagus, stomach, or the top of the small intestine in people who have life-threatening illnesses. Chloramphenicol is primarily bacteriostatic. It binds to the 50S subunit of the ribosome, thereby inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis.Chloramphenicol has a wide spectrum of activity against gram-positive and gram-negative cocci and bacilli (including anaerobes), Rickettsia , Mycoplasma, and Chlamydia and Chlamydophila. Because of bone marrow toxicity, the availability of alternative antibiotics, and the emergence of resistance, chloramphenicol is no longer a drug of choice for any infection, except serious infections due to a few multidrug-resistant pathogens that retain susceptibility to this antibiotic. However, outcomes of chloramphenicol treatment of meningitis caused by relatively penicillin-resistant pneumococci have been discouraging.

Cyproterone/Ethinyl estradiol is a contraceptive pill that doubles as a very effective acne treatment.Cyproterone/Ethinyl estradiol provides contraceptive protection as reliable as other pills while it also relieves acne, greasy skin and hairy skin.Essentially, Cyproterone/Ethinyl estradiol works by regulating your hormones: estrogen and progestogen (reproductive hormones) and androgen (which can cause acne, by prompting excess oil production in your skin). With Cyproterone/Ethinyl estradiol you have the unique combined benefit of contraception and anti-acne treatment. This two-in-one solutions package solves two of your concerns at one go.With Cyproterone/Ethinyl estradiol you may also experience regular, lighter and less painful periods. Discover the power of Estelle to make life easier and more enjoyable.Cyproterone/Ethinyl estradiol meanwhile contains two female hormones, estrogen and progestin. These are similar to the natural hormones women produce in their ovaries. The pituitary gland is not able to distinguish the hormones contained in Cyproterone/Ethinyl estradiol from those produced by the ovaries. It, therefore, stops inducing the natural hormone production by the ovaries and eventually the process of egg growth and release. This hormonal feedback mechanism is based on the same principle which blocks the maturation and release of further eggs during pregnancy. Lidocaine patches are used to relieve the pain of post-herpetic neuralgia (the burning, stabbing pains, or aches that may last for months or years after a shingles infection). Using too many patches or leaving patches on for too long may cause serious side effects. To apply the patches, follow these steps: Look at the skin that you plan to cover with a lidocaine patch. If the skin is broken or blistered, do not apply a patch to that area. Use scissors to remove the outer seal from the package. Then pull apart the zipper seal. Remove up to three patches from the package and press the zipper seal tightly together. The remaining patches may dry out if the zipper seal is not tightly closed. Cut patch(es) to the size and shape that will cover your most painful area. Peel the transparent liner off the back of the patch(es). Press the patch(es) firmly onto your skin. If you are applying a patch to your face, be careful not to let it touch your eyes. If you do get lidocaine in your eye, wash it with plenty of water or saline solution. Wash your hands after handling lidocaine patches. Do not reuse lidocaine patches. After you are finished using a patch, remove it and dispose of it out of reach of children and pets. Used patches contain enough medication to seriously harm a child or pet. This medication is used in women to prevent pregnancy after birth control failure (e.g., broken condom) or unprotected sex.
